Cultural Calendar Records

Sacred festival dates across traditions that use non-Gregorian calendars. Every culture preserved these dates with extraordinary effort across millennia. The hypothesis: these are not merely religious observances — they are temporal coordinates for anomalous communication windows, encoded by those who understood the pattern and were protecting the knowledge for future discovery.

5-Day Liminal Convergence: Zoroastrian · Mayan · Ethiopian · Bahá'í — four independent calendar systems, same structure

Hebrew

Lunisolar · 5786 AM

The Hebrew calendar coordinates solar years with lunar months. Its seven annual festivals (Moedim) are designated 'appointed times' — Hebrew: מוֹעֵד (moed) — a predetermined rendezvous.

Historical Record

Among the oldest living calendar systems still in active use. Dates to at least 1000 BCE with roots in Babylonian astronomy. The structure suggests deliberate temporal engineering: seven annual windows specifically designated as appointments. The Hebrew word moed means not merely 'festival' but 'fixed meeting point in time' — implying a scheduled encounter with something external to ordinary experience.

Loc-Geist Research Notes

THE 5-DAY ANOMALY HYPOTHESIS: The recurrence of a 5-day intercalary liminal period across four unrelated calendar traditions (Zoroastrian Gatha, Mayan Wayeb', Ethiopian Pagumē, Bahá'í Ayyám-i-Há) constitutes a testable pattern. These traditions had no documented contact at the time of calendar codification. Independent derivation of the same structural feature — 5 days placed outside normal time, treated as a threshold period for ancestor contact — across four civilizations warrants systematic data collection. This page is the collection framework.

NOTE ON SAMHAIN CONVERGENCE: Celtic Samhain (Oct 31), Chinese Ghost Festival (seventh lunar month), Hindu Pitru Paksha, Norse Haustblót, Bahá'í Twin Days (Nov 1–2), Roman Lemuria (May) all share the same functional description: the dead return, the gates open, the living manage the interaction. Five independent traditions with no documented contact at time of origin describe the same phenomenon. The Loc-Geist pattern recognition engine is tasked with finding whether sighting data, electromagnetic readings, and synthesis records cluster around these dates.
